In 2007, I attended Global Investigative Journalism Conference, and was blown away by the amazing panels and workshops I attended. I left committed to becoming an investigative journalist. I started publishing stories with alternative media, and in 2010, set-up and ran the G20 Alternative Media Centre, which provided over 100 independent journalists with a hub to cover the G20 Summit and the protests against it. Since then I have been published by CBC, the Toronto Star, the Guardian and a variety of other publications.
